MY STORY
Hello World! My name is Jamie (Cappa), and I am the writer behind this blog. Here, you’ll find a variety of topics from sports to coaching experiences, and personal stories from my day-to-day life.
I live in New England and graduated from Nichols College with a major in Sport Management. During college, I discovered a passion for coaching, which led me to pursue a career in education.
Sports have always been a significant influence in my life. Growing up in Pennsylvania with parents from New England, I was naturally drawn to Boston sports. What a time to be a fan! Six Super Bowls, three World Series, two NBA Championships, and one Stanley Cup. Boston truly is the city of champions. My hope is that this legacy continues in the years to come.
Baseball, hockey, and football are my favorite sports, but football is my biggest passion. From a young age, I idolized the Patriot Way. Unlike most kids, I wasn’t interested in being a star player; I wanted to be a coach. After a medical condition prevented me from playing football, I turned to coaching and never looked back. This fall marks a special milestone: my ninth year of coaching and my first year as a Head Football Coach. I’m excited to share coaching insights as I continue this blog.
Outside of my professional life, I am happily married to my wife Natalie. Together we are the parents of our English Cream Golden Retriever name Jovie. Yes, Jovie will definitely make appearances on the blog!
I hope you enjoy the blog and follow along on this wild journey! I can’t tell you exactly where it’s going to take us, but I look forward to having you along for the ride.
Welcome to Cappa’s Corner!
